This is no substitute for plain ol' Tabasco, but it doesn't need to be. These guys have figured out how to get the superb flavor of habaneros to shine through but keep the heat down to a dull roar. This is plenty hot enough, but not overwhelming like habaneros can often be. Excellent on burritos. Squeeze a dab into your Aunt Mildred's mild salsa to pick things up a bit.

I've tried a lot of hot sauces and this is one I keep coming back to, so it must be my favorite! I don't love super-hot hot sauces, I like medium hot. This is a very tasty low-medium hot sauce. Definitely has a kick, but also it has flavor. THe heat is welcome but it doesn't take over the whole experience like a much hotter sauce will do. Very versatile as a result. If you want more heat, you just add more.
