I love this blade. The attention to details. How the rivets are visually appealing. It fits perfectly in my hands. The g10 scales are great and look good. It is sharp out of the box, but as always can use a little love. I like that it is a stainless steel, not the best in the world, it gets the job done though. I like the looks of it. It's classy and a gentleman's knife!
Very nice knife!

I haven't used this knife yet (because I can't bring myself to tarnish it) but the fit and finish are outstanding. I'm by far not a knife expert and the best knife I've ever owned was my Buck Ranger which I've lost. Everything about this knife is awesome. Nice smooth but tight fit in the sheath with no worry about it falling out. All of the sheaths I've had in the past for any of my knives have a positive flap/snap to keep the knife secure in the sheath. So, this is different but I think I'll get used to it. The multiple carry option loop on the sheath should be interesting too.
This is a smaller knife so I will definitely not be using it on any deer because it would probably not be very safe once it was coated in blood. But I'd say it's more than capable of handling squirrels and rabbits. That is, if i can actually talk myself into getting it dirty.

I recently purchased the CRKT Hunt'N Fisch Fixed Blade Knife, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. As an avid hunter and fisherman, I am always on the lookout for reliable tools, and this knife has truly impressed me with its value, build quality, and craftsmanship. It is an ideal choice for those new to hunting and fishing or looking for an entry-level option.

Let's start with the value this knife offers. CRKT (Columbia River Knife and Tool) has a reputation for producing exceptional blades at reasonable prices, and the Hunt'N Fisch is no exception. It strikes the perfect balance between affordability and functionality, making it an excellent investment for beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike. Considering its quality and performance, I believe it offers incredible bang for your buck.

In terms of functionality, the Hunt'N Fisch shines brightly. Its fixed blade design ensures durability and strength, making it suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities. Whether you need to field dress game, fillet fish, or perform general campsite tasks, this knife delivers. The 2.99-inch drop point blade is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, which not only ensures exceptional sharpness but also enhances its corrosion resistance.

One of the standout features of the Hunt'N Fisch is its superior build quality and craftsmanship. The blade has a full tang construction, meaning it extends throughout the entire length of the knife, resulting in enhanced strength and stability. The handle is constructed with a combination of synthetic G10 scales and stainless steel bolsters, providing a secure and comfortable grip even in wet conditions. The attention to detail and precision in the knife's construction is evident, giving it a premium feel that far exceeds its price range.

Additionally, the Hunt'N Fisch comes with a nylon sheath that provides convenient and safe storage when not in use. The sheath is well-designed and ensures quick access to the knife when needed. It also features a belt loop, allowing for easy carrying during outdoor adventures.

Having used the CRKT Hunt'N Fisch in various hunting and fishing scenarios, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The blade retains its sharpness remarkably well, even after extended use. It effortlessly slices through game and fish, making each task feel like a breeze. The ergonomic handle design offers a solid grip, minimizing the risk of slippage and accidents. The knife's balance and weight distribution feel just right, enabling precise and controlled movements.

Great Knife for Light Use, Terrible Sheath
Amazon Customer✓ Verified PurchaseNovember 17, 2023
The knife pretty good for the money. The blade steel is what you'd expect on a $50 knife; it's easy to sharpen and easy to chip. It's a great knife for slicing, cleaning or skinning. If you're looking for a knife to beat on, I'd recommend something with a lot better blade steel (Maybe 154CM or 1095 steel). But the steel on this blade is much more corrosion resistant than 1095, so it works better near or in water.

The fit and finish on this knife is amazing, I've never had a knife feel more comfortable in the hand.

The sheath is absolutely terrible. It looks great but does not have any retention. I tried wearing this thing ECD for 3 days....... It fell out of the sheath at least once a day from just getting in and out of my car. I almost lost it one day because of the lack of retention and spent an hour looking through a field. One of the times it fell out of the sheath, it made a chip in the knife and I had to reshape the edge.

Overall the knife is great looks and feels great. Functionality wise, it's great for anything but hard/rough use and the sheath is terrible.
Great little knife!

I just received this knife, so I can't speak to edge retention, yet, but the package arrived on time and in great shape. The fit and finish of the knife is beautiful! It is on the small side, which I had expected (and wanted), so it might not be ideal for someone with bigger hands. For me, it's a perfect fit. Pretty sharp out of the box, so that a few strokes on a strop brought it to an edge I am satisfied with. My overall impression is that this is a knife that should have cost more than it did. Bonus that the profits go to charity!

The sheath is actually pretty nice, for what it is. I am not totally satisfied with the retention of the sheath, especially for how close to horizontal it is. This probably varies from sheath to sheath due to the natural variation in leather. Also, I wear a 2" wide belt, and it won't fit through the loop in the sheath. 1.25" belt looks to be the max, probably, so keep that in mind when considering purchasing this. I had planned to make my own anyhow.

I had wanted a small, stainless EDC fixed blade, in a size that won't get me in trouble and that had a better than average appearance and a reasonable price. I think I got it.
