Not going to lie it feels a little flimsy but it's holding my 48" tv no problem. It swivels just fine, and it's a nice size. I have it on the higher setting. Now I can watch tv in bed without my tall bed blocking half the screen.

Really nice and sturdy product for our 42" TV. Space below is just right for the DVR and a BD player. Swivel is smooth, the whole unit is solid. Aleratec provided fast delivery, well boxed, and a nice follow up providing links if there were any issues with the product or process.

Perfect size to put my 32" TV on top shelf; CD player and Directv receiver stacked on the second shelf; video tape player on the bottom shelf.
The stand comes with 2 sets of 8 short legs and 8 long legs. I only used the short legs (4 per shelf) to get the perfect height for my tv.
The legs are made of hard plastic molded to interlock with the shelves. If you need more vertical space on a shelf, use a set of 4 long legs instead of the short legs. The shelves are plenty wide enough for the components I have. The swivel makes it super easy to make cable connections on the backs of the components. I have the stand on top of a 25"H cabinet. The top of the stand is 11 3/4" above the top of the cabinet.
Since my components and the stand are black it makes a really sharp looking and compact entertainment center. Very sturdy.

I LOVE this swivel tv stand! It's sturdy and a superior quality for a smaller than average price. Having the abiilty to change the angle of the tv with the touch of a finger is a great feature. Oh yeah... assembly was a no-brainer,too !
