My only "gripe" is the finish on some edges and around the holes for the phone cords isn't very smooth like the rest of the unit

What can I say, it accomplishes what I needed it to do - clear the clutter of cords and devices from the kitchen counter. I purchased the Anker 40w/5 port usb charger with this and it fits perfectly underneath. I also purchased short usb cables for all of our devices, so there isnt a tangle of cords in the tray underneath. I somewhat disagree with other reviews that say the phones topple over when plugged in for charging. I have not experienced that at all. My only "gripe" is the finish on some edges and around the holes for the phone cords isn't very smooth like the rest of the unit. I purchased mine in the cherry finish and other than the few areas, the finish is quite good and looks nice with our new kitchen cabinets. Will the unit stand the test of time? We shall see.......
Looks great and works the way it's supposed to.

This charging station looks really nice next to my other bamboo pieces that hold binders and miscellaneous office supplies. It holds my Kindle reader, Kindle Fire, two iPhones and a portable charger--all of which are charging at the same time. The on/off switch on the power hub is definitely a plus.
The only problem I had with the power hub is that it doesn't accommodate the plug on my Kindle Fire. I solved this by using a portable saw to remove the middle bar in the wood cover and also made the entire hole wider. It doesn't look too pretty, but the power hub is behind the dock and isn't visible from the front.
All in all, a very nice piece.

This had come so in-handy. I have used it both for holding my MAC Book Air as it is charging and for flagging important papers (setting them into the slots so that I see them and address them when I have time) that I have yet to get to put in to my important files. It is more expensive than other charging stations (without the multi-port charger), but I highly recommend to charge your products. I have not had a notification e-mail to charge my Fit Bit anymore because this charging station is now in my line of sight before I exit my room and it automatically triggers me to look at my devices to see if they need charging (fitness device, phone, laptop). Good quality structure.
Awesome!

I have an iPad (with attached keyboard), 17" laptop, and three phones (Google Pixel, iPhone 7, Galaxy S7 Edge) to store near my bed. Previously, it was just a mess. This has revolutionized my bedside table. I can fit everything above comfortably and without issue. One thing that I didn't realize is how sturdy it is - it's pretty heavy! So it doesn't move - at ALL. Also, there are strong magnets holding the top piece to the bottom. This is one of the best investments that I've made to keep myself organized. Highly recommend!
I like it. Good, but could be improved.

I like it.
Pros:
- Good for organizing and hiding cables.
- Zero assembly.
- Magnetic base/top interface.
- Can use with either AC or DC USB power supplies.
Cons:
- Phone slots are not wide enough for modern phones like the LG G5 or iPhone 7 Plus. Modern phones do not fit within the side rails, so they can fall over left and right which places strain on cables. Perhaps an elastic band at the top of the phone back plate would help.
- Base could be deeper, allowing cables to protrude vertically without binding.
- I have a big family, so I'd like to see varying lengths. I'd buy one twice as long and perhaps a slot or two or three thicker.
- One of two units arrived with a phone rail broken off. Super glue fixed it. Material appears to be a weird particle board or something. Not sure how long it will last.
- Price is a bit high.
If you'd like to see what these look like hands on, I made a Youtube video. Search "Family Charging Station AC or DC (solar?)".
