My humidor is still dry...

Threw 4 large 75% packs into a small, and poorly maintained, humidor. After weeks, I can still only get to about 65% RH. Now, it's not totally full of cigars, and I rarely open it. It's proving to be a better humidifier than the foam pad or a shot glass of water, but still not getting me to the 70% sweet spot I was hoping for. My house is super dry in the winter, so maybe in the summer, it will be the opposite problem. I will buy them again, but I might have to get the 84% seasoning packs to get my humidor right during the ridiculously dry winter months.

Have been using these in my cigar humidors for several years and most of them are still charged after multiple years. I use them in conjunction with gel beads and since Boveda packs are two way, they seem to maintain their viability.
I do have them in either a Xikar plastic humidor and I have found, that a Nanuk plastic gun carrying case also works well since it is a sealed, water proof case. The packs work very well in a traditional wooden humidor, but will not last as long. Plastic storage is the way to go if your lazy like me.
In any case, my cigar storage maintains a 69% to 71% humidity level with minimal effort on my part.
Will continue to use.

I've been looking for deals on these packs and here it is! If you haven't tried these in your humidor, you are missing out! You will have so much free time on your hands, your mind will be blown! If it's too humid or not humid enough, these packs regulate that. They have a great range of humidity, but I prefer 69% for my humidor. I also discovered that a 60-gram pack in the bottom and an 8-gram in the top work best. Even the cheap stoggies smoke much better, but the good ones are just sooooo good!

You could waste your time trying to get 65% in your humidor with other ways of humidification or you can just buy these, drop them in the box and have your cigars sitting comfy at 65%. If you like the mad scientist aspect of owning a humidor these are not for you. You literally drop them in your humidor and you're done. If you want something more complicated to maintain humidity hit yourself in the head really hard and then buy these.

INSTRUCTIONS - 1) Buy a new Humidor. 2) Purchase these 84% Boveda packs, 1 for every 25 count capacity of your new Humi. 3) Toss them in your new unseasoned Humi. 4) Wait 2 weeks. 5) Discard the packs, load your sticks in your Humidor along with your preferred method of normal humidification. 6) Wait to see if the Cubs will win the World Series this year.
