good stuff. this year is the worst I have ever seen for ticks, and no bites yet since using this. no problem with mosquitoes either. this stuff is very oily - not like "deep woods off" but it has a very low odor level which i prefer, all things considered. I lightly spray the dog when walking in the woods because even though she's had her tick treatments and wears a tick collar, i still found a half dozen on her this spring...no trouble since i started using this stuff. I don't recommend 100% deet on your head - better for clothing. I use this in combo with 30% deet on my exposed skin and I am 100% bite-free so far for the first time in my life.

I brought this with me to Southeast Asia and I never had a single mosquito bite - as long as I applied it before leaving the hostel. I bought two but only needed one as it does last a while; my trip was six weeks long, I applied it every day, and I didn't even finish one bottle.
Has a distinctive smell which I didn't mind at all. The only thing that sucked about it - and I'm not sure if this is a component of all Deet sprays or not, is that it would leave a sticky/oily residue on my hands. I'd always wash my hands right after applying it, but if I touched my legs or arms later in the evening, I would have the residue on my hands all over again. Still don't regret buying it. It did not leak from the bottle, it lasted, and it was great protection.

This stuff works. We try and use natural solutions first but when recently in Thailand the bugs were not easily deterred - except with this stuff. I know that DEET has some risks but it kept the bugs away instantly. This small package is also nice because it is pocketable so you can carry it with you and only use it when it's really necessary.

Before I used this my detached woodshop would be filled with spiders etc that filled my angles with itchy bites - spray ben's on my cloths and shoes and have not been bitten since. Also, used this on hikes in the wooded tick infested area and did not get any tick bites or found any on me or my wife. Follow the directions and use the common inspect techniques like tucking hiking socks into the hiking boots.
