Excellent customer service. I was head to receive my first bag as I enjoy a cup of dark roast every morning to begin my day. Upon opening it I was stunned by how coarse the coffee was ground but was still optimistic. Upon brewing, I was disappointed to say the least on how watered down and weak it tasted. I contacted the company and they immediately gave me tips on how to brew the perfect cup and sent out a fresh bag they were sure I would enjoy. Upon recovering the second bag, immediately I noticed how fine the coffee was ground and was ensured the first bag must of been some sort of error. I brewed the cup but was still disappointed on how it wasn't as strong as some other brands I've tried and enjoy (I.e. Starbucks French roast, Pete's French roast, Black Rifle coffee). In the future I will try to grind the beans myself and test multiple brewing methods but at the moment, the coffee wasn't for me and I was given a full refund. It isn't bad coffee by any means, just not the cup for me. Great customer service however to which I rate it 3/4 Stars.

This coffee taste great and is strong as advertised. I was hoping it was beans but it came grounded already, which is fine. I mainly use this as a cold brew which taste great. Drinking a 16oz cup in the morning gets me up. I use to drink energy drinks but this coffee has been my go to since I bought it. Will be reordering it.

Good coffee. Smooth. Doesn't have that "acid burn" that the Community Coffee we drink here in South Louisiana typically has. Strong, but smooth. It didn't give me "coffee jitters" or anything like that. Based on the advertisement, I was expecting the coffee equivalent of rocket fuel, but it's just good-tasting, some-what dark coffee. If you're looking for something to get you wired, I don't know that this will do the trick. On the other hand, if you're looking for a smooth, dark coffee with some cool packaging that will possibly give you some street cred, you'll be happy. I served this to friends and they seemed to like it as well.

Got this several weeks ago. Finished the first pot and then rebuilt the motor in my Chevelle. While it was running. While riding my Harley. And reloading ammo. Wife wanted a cup but the coffee maker jumped off the counter, beat the refrigerator like a JV wrestler and then ran off yelling something about destroying ISIS. 12/10 will purchase again.

First, use an Aeropress. They're easy to use, and not that expensive. Death Wish recommends them for best results, and they're not wrong. One normal scoop in an inverted Aeropress, fill with water (I go to the 1 mark when inverted), stir for ten seconds, steep for forty seconds, press into your cup until you hear air escaping. Easy.
It's a robusta blend, yes, but it's a pretty good robusta blend. This is not a delicate, floral cup of coffee, but it's also not burnt rubber. Well, it might be if you drip brew and leave it on the burner. Don't do that. It definitely packs a punch, which is why I'm giving it five stars - this coffee does exactly what it says it'll do (be really darn strong), without tasting horrible. If you have a local coffee roaster, you can probably get better beans, but it won't be 660mg of caffeine in a twelve ounce cup.
