It works great. Measurements are accurate. Takes all the frustration of trying to figure out the grams, ounces and pounds. It does it for you. Love it for bread making!

If you are serious about baking, confectionery etc. you must have a quality scale. After a lot of research I chose a Tanita and have been very happy with the ease of use, accuracy and overall functionality.

We use it all the time, totally water proof! Water is always leaking off of something and it keeps on working!

This is an excellent scale but I sent it back for a few reasons. It's a little on the big side but not too big, but some people may not like that. It displayed the weight quickly, worked well, etc. However, when I put an empty bowl on the tray, it would give me the circle that says the weight is set, and then about 5 seconds later the weight would change by 0.05 oz. A scale of this type doesn't need to be more accurate than that, but for the absurd price of $150+ it was really annoying, especially when I just got another professional quality scale for $30 that I like better. The other thing that I didn't like is it doesn't weigh in ounces only. It has to be pounds/ounces or grams. The media could not be loaded. 4/3/21 Have been looking for a scale that is accurate at 1g regardless of other weights applied. This Tanita KW-210 works great. It can measure as small as 1g and when there is other weight on the plate (say 100g) it still responds to adding 1g at a time. It was a bit bigger than I imagined. It came with an AC power adapter or can use 4xAA batteries (batteries not included). Made in China.
