In January I underwent rotator cuff repair surgery on my left shoulder as a result of a fall, though it turned out that I had unknown chronic problems as well. I had three tears, two of them considered to be "massive." I also had an impinged shoulder and bone spurs along with it, so my recovery has been a long one. It's almost 4 months since my surgery now and I'm still out of work, so you can see that this shoulder issue has been a major battle for me even with dedication to the rehab portion. It's been very painful at times and very frustrating, so any form of relief I can get is welcomed. Enter the Ueasy support brace.
Prior to surgery I tried a different type of shoulder support brace to get me through. It is sold here on Amazon and is blue. It's name is NeoG. While it did provide some relief, I find that this particular support brace gives me even better relief and is far more affordable. My arm feels less fatigued when I wear this support brace. I certainly know that I am wearing a support brace, so it's not so comfortable that it feels like it isn't there, but it's also not so cumbersome that it's constantly on your mind. To be fair, that's the case with almost any type of support brace.
The gray portion of this support brace can be adjusted so you get the type of pressure you want. At this time my pressure needs are so great that I pulled the gray section as far as it will go. Unfortunately, this does result in some puckering and rippling of the black neoprene material beneath the gray strap, but I am working with a seamstress for a solution on that. If anything that would be a downside, but I don't want to rate it that way since others may not need the type of pressure I do it this time. A small amount of adjustment may be all other people need.
Another thing I like about this particular support brace versus my earlier type is that this is entirely made of neoprene. The strap that goes around the chest and back on the blue one is simple elastic that curls up and can cut into you very quickly. I don't find that I have that problem with this particular product. There is some degree of roll with this, but it's minimal in my experiences anyway (and I am a rather "solid" woman and have this solidly cinched on me).
The only downside I would really give this product is that it has a strong chemical odor to it when you remove it from the package. But this is the type of product you should be washing before you wear it anyway and I find that most of that odor comes out. Neoprene is not a natural fiber so you should expect some degree of "scent" to it. Drying it outside on a nice breezy day would probably air this thing out beautifully. Using a product such as "Sport Suds" would also be helpful.
One thing I've learned through this whole process of recovery is that you will do almost anything to get some relief, even if it's only improving things by 20%. When you are uncomfortable or in pain that's a significant degree of relief. If you've tried other support braces and haven't gotten any significant relief I'd suggest giving this product a try, especially at this price. It may or may not be the right product for you, but this is only something that can be found out by trying it. Perhaps the blue NeoG support brace is better for some people. It is a well-made product and many people have found relief with the NeoG. That being said, I like that I've found something that seems to better address my needs at a far more affordable price. I hope you find the right product to address your needs, be it this product or something else.

Really helps my shoulder

I bought this for support for my left shoulder. I have been having pain for two years that has gradually worsened. I am using this to support my shoulder and to remind me to take it easy with the shoulder.
The smell is a little string but not overwhelming. I didn't put it in the sun or wash it. I leave it sitting on the back of the couch when not in use. The smell has diminished greatly. As for the fit I am a female 5'4" with a large frame. The shoulder support is easy to put on even with the bad shoulder. It fits across the chest with a Velcro strap and does not interfere with my breasts.
I use ice in the shoulder pack. It fits nice and tight and confirms nicely to my shoulder. My only complaint is the Velcro strap along the arm. When you expand it, the Velcro you loosened goes across your bare skin. This is uncomfortable. I have to wear a shirt that the sleeves come below the arm Velcro or use a wash cloth to cover the skin to prevent the arm from being scratched. I removed one star because of this.
Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Compression for my arm, easy to put on.

I injured the tendon on my arm that connects the pec. I mainly got this for the compression and warmth along the bicep area (where the arm velcro is). So I can't comment on how well it works for the shoulders. What I can comment about it is that it does keep the shoulders warm but I don't think it provides enough compression for the shoulder area if you were to wear this for a shoulder injury, but again I don't have a shoulder injury so take my comments with a grain of salt. For the bicep area though it's great since you can customize how tight it is.
It isn't expensive either so it's nice to have as an extra treatment. It's relatively comfortable, I wear it for a few hours at a time at home. I tried to wear it once for a day at work and for me personally it wasn't that comfortable (under a dress shirt so it was difficult to adjust), YMMV.
If you need the compression for long hours such as while at work I recommend getting a compression shirt; something like the ones from Under Armor.

This brace works great, is tight enough

My wife often dislocates her shoulder and due to her condition, surgery isn't an option. This brace works great, is tight enough, and helps reduce her shoulder pain...
Works well if you understand its purpose and limitations...

I bought this to use on my left shoulder since I found I had a labial tear. I usually put it on when doing PT to strengthen the muscles around the shoulder. Overall, it fits pretty snug and is adjustable so it will fit various chest sizes. It does give some support when moving the shoulder during the exercises, but it is not a where-for-all in stopping pain as you will find out if you move to quickly in the wrong direction. What I found it best for was using the top, "pocket", to slip in a cold gel ice pack after doing the exercises to relieve some of the swelling. In that regard it works nicely.
If you want to use this as a preventative brace when working out or to ice a sore shoulder, I think you would like it. But if you have what I have, you will only get some relief during and after PT, but it is usually short-lived.
That said, If you do have an injury such as mine and can get by with PT, icing, ibuprofen, and, if needed, cortisone shots, as opposed to having surgery, I would recommend this brace. But just remember, a labial tear will not, "heal", itself, so the brace doesn't work miracles...it is just for temporary relief. My guess is sooner than later I will need surgery to fix the tear...and that will not be fun ride at all.
