I want to like this shelf but it has a problem that I just cant shake. The shelves are nice enough and have a little play after being tightened down which is fine considering once you've got them level youll not touch them again. Unless you do and then put pressure on one side or the other and it tilts on you. The main problem for me is the plastic tabs and guide that your supposed to use for cable management. You have to put your cable through where you want it and then slide the guide and cable through together. You have to or at least I had to do it this way because the plastic tabs are so hard and unforgiving you cant just easily slide cables in and out of the track. Its like these should have been rubber or even like a black bristle material so you could easily run cables in and out. Once they are in they're in, but if you want to add or remove something you have to take the whole slide out with the cables previously ran. It just seems like a poor design, maybe you could loosen the mount from the wall to provide more room and give the tabs a bit more play but you shouldn't have to.

I love this floating shelf. Works we'll and looks really good. If your setup is like mine I'd recommend ordering two if nothing more than for looks. I had to mount myn off center so I'll be ordering a second to put on the stud to the right for more shelf space and aesthetics.

It's a really good product. Easy to install and it looks really nice. I accidentally ordered two of them so I was going to return one - however, after opening the first one I decided to keep the second and put it in a different room because it was so nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is a little shallow. Our Dish (Hopper) receiver (which is over sized) hangs about an inch or two off the front - but it doesn't matter. It is plenty stable.

I'm pretty handy but this took me hours. And I still cannot figure how to get the cord through the side into the components that I put on the shelf. I gave up and let the chords come down through the bottom and then had to use parcel tape to hold the brackets on the right and left sides up. Amazingly difficult to understand this contraption! When sits up it looks nice. Expect issues assembling it though. At least for me, someone else might have better luck.

I needed this item to hold my cable box and blu-ray player below my mounted TV in the bedroom. The item was easy to install offering a few ways to ensure that you have the support needed to get the weight claimed on the box with either directions to find the stud in the wall or wall anchors for placement in brink, concrete, or drywall. Installation was fast and the directions were decent but it was easy to see that they either weren't reviewed or were converted from a different language as there were grammatical and spelling errors.

Some of the minor complaints I have include the crappy slots that are marketed as means to hide your wires and smaller shelves. The slots to hide the wires are located need the backbone of the item with several openings that are supposed to be used for chords to be placed into (you can kinda make it out within the picture shown on the products). This hole area is a joke as the openings themselves are small with nothing much larger than an Ethernet chord being able to fit in any individual slot. Good luck fitting the power chord into this area. The slot material itself is 2 separate fin looking things that slide into a ridge but they don't stack well are a cheap material. The ridge located within the backbone is also small meaning at best 3 chords can fit there making it difficult when you have several chords to run up. As for the shelves them seem fine for surface area to hold my items but they could be bigger. It doesn't have a very large profile in the first place so I am not sure how they determined the length and width of them.

Overall good product and I would suggest getting it if you need something to hold your entertainment items.
