Worked great - I needed it to immobilize my shoulder from stretching out from my body, especially when I was sleeping. This worked great and after a few weeks, my shoulder was healed and I didn't need it anymore.

I tore my bicep and a regular sling just didn't immobilize my upper arm to allow it to heal. I got one of these and was disappointed that it started coming apart almost immediately. I emailed the company and they sent me a new one that day, I am incredibly happy with the product, but more with the service they provided. I highly recommend trying any product they sell first if comparing due to their service.

I had a minor shoulder procedure done on the 31st of July.. so I'm approximately 1 month post surgery and I'm currently going thru Physical therapy... I was issued a traditional shoulder sling and it's been very uncomfortable to say the least... I received this shoulder immobilizer today and it's 1000 times more comfortable and offers the same support, protection and immobilization recommended by doctor's to wear during the healing process post surgery... I highly recommend it and I'm thoroughly satisfied with this system.

This item arrived with a manufacturing defect so that it cannot be strapped around the body (only one side of velcro was stitched into the wrap - and the wrap fabric does not cling to the velco). Be aware that the seller has a STRICT NO RETURN, NO EXCHANGE policy. In theory this item should do a decent job in the short term, but it does seem (from using the arm straps) that the elastic will stretch easily overtime rendering the band useless for long-term support (which is what I am looking for - 6 months at least).

I have a 44" chest size...so according to the size chart I needed a size XXL. When I received the item and after trying it on I knew right away it was way too big, after stretching/tightening it as far as possible it was still too loose at the chest and the arm bands I couldn't stretch tight enough to to get good stability stable. I should have ordered an XL or L? I'm a 190Lb Masters Pro Bodybuilder so it isn't like I have small arms & chest. The size chart is way off!
