Excellent purchase! This 2" latex topper, along with an "Outlast" cooling mattress pad, fixed my problem of a too-hard, too-hot memory foam mattress. It added just the right amount of cushioning and bounce. It made it much easier for me to turn over in bed. I woke up feeling refreshed for the first time in a long time. My shoulders felt loose, my back felt better and I felt more upright and a bit taller this morning. Have ordered two more of these toppers, plus Outlast mattress pads and sheets for other memory foam mattresses in the house. I have connective tissue disease and fibromyalgia, so discovering that this latex topper solves my memory foam issues while still making its benefits available--burying its comfy "squishy-ness" deeper, beneath the latex topper--has been a BIG win for me. Until last night I *always* slept with an ice pack under my back to combat the memory foam heat issue. I've literally been doing this for years. Last night, with my new Outlast cooling mattress pad and this latex topper I did not need to use an ice pack, which meant I didn't have to go to the freezer for a fresh pack in the middle of the night. As one part of the mattress (eventually) warmed up, I could easily turn over to a cooler part, resulting in a good night's sleep and a refreshed-feeling morning. SO glad my husband talked me into giving this a try. We had spent all Sunday afternoon in "mattress-shopping hell" at Sears and Sleep Number, looking at high-priced mattresses that felt great but all had major drawbacks in price and (from reading reviews) their durability and/or service issues.

I love it. Got it to help with some lower back pain. It has made a difference, if only I could find this in an office chair too! My mattress is only a few years old and its coils/memory foam combo. I bought the soft topper because so many other reviews said the firm was hard. I think I could have gone with the firm, but I'm not complaining about the one I have. I've had it for well over a month, and I'm still pleased. I should have paid the extra for the thicker version, because I'm guessing it's probably much more comfortable... but again, this one is VERY cozy. It doesn't make it hot sleep... or at least no different than before. The odor is mild, and has gone away mostly. Highly recommend it!

Quality is outstanding. I purchased a firm natural latex mattress 25 years ago. Needless to say, it has lost its sponginess over the years. With the 2" soft Pure Green mattress topper, I have a soft top layer over a firm mattress, resulting in pure comfort, and my arms no longer get numb. There is a slight increase in temperature due to heat trapping, but I don't notice it anymore after three weeks. I have never noticed a smell that others are mentioning. I am unsure whether I should buy an additional case for it at $50. I am currently using a thin protection pad between my bedsheet and the mattress topper.

This is a game changer! I am 6'4" 265. I bought this topper to but on top of our 3 year old worn out sleep innovations foam mattress that only lasted 2 years. [ I would not recommend a sleep innovation mattress BTW, they don't last and there is no practical warrantee] We ere going to buy a complete new mattress but decided to give this a try. Glad I did. Wish I had started with a latex mattress from the start.
Being a side sleeper I bought a soft. My sleep is much better than it was even before the sleep innovations mattress started to deteriorate and collapse. It is much cooler and has no smell.
If you are considering replacing your mattress consider this topper or a latex mattress instead of foam.

This topper is completely fantastic. I had a firm Ikea foam mattress that was OK a few years ago, but wasn't what I needed for comfort anymore. I was waking up at night frequently, and having a hard time going back to sleep. I looked at the reviews for this and decided to get the 2 inch soft topper. I wanted medium firmness, but everyone said take the soft, and I'm glad I did. I sleep so much better now. I sleep through the night more often, can go back to sleep more easily if I do wake, and I don't have aches in the morning. I sleep on my side and it takes the pressure off my shoulders and hips. Just lying down on the topper is a joy in the evening, it has great bounce and support and feels far better than any memory foam.

I'm also very picky about anything with odors, and this has a very faint odor that smells natural and doesn't bother me instead of a heavy synthetic odor.

I'd buy it again, and the only thing I'd change is to order the 3 inch version. I bet it's even nicer on top of a firm mattress.
