My husband loves new balance. He had trouble with his Achilles years ago and the doctor that he saw that did surgery on his Achilles saw he had on new balance and told him great choice your feet they take you everywhere in this world. Glad to see that you splurge on buying a good pair of shoes to wear.

I burn through a pair of court shoes in 6 - 8 months playing pickle ball 3-4 times a week on outdoor courts. These New Balance trainers (size 8.5 EE) are sort of an experiment to see if training shoe soles will last longer. Way too early to tell! The width and toe box area are a good fit and the all leather uppers are breaking in nicely. I chose trainers this time to see if I can get some additional mileage out of them (I'm thinking the sole material is a little more durable). While they seem a little less grippy than my old ones I'm not sliding all over the place so so far so good!

On the first wearing, the soles squeaked on hard surfaces but as the first bit of wear occurred, the squeaking became less frequent. The uppers still need to conform to the shape of my foot. Just part of break in. As I always use orthotics in all of my shoes, the lack of arch support is not that important. Once the orthotics were inserted, the support was what I need. Other than that, I am satisfied with the purchase.

Been wearing this type of sneaker for years, My daughter asked me once why I always wear the same shoe. I said that I didn't I used to wear model 621's and these are 623's! Only 4 stars because they used to make these better. The sole wears out faster than previous models. Still a good value!

I love the brand and the shoe. Granted the price was why I chose white. This is my second pair of shoes that I have owned that were from New Balance. This is the first time buying them from Amazon though. I am hoping these shoes will beat the experience that I had from other shoes that I bought from amazon. RIght now I love these though, I hope they stay on my good side.
