I was going to make a DIY frame from PVC pipe, I already have diffusion silk, then I happen to see this an thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did since if I still need more diffusion, I think the one on this reflector is only a half stop. Also save me the hassle of buying the PVC pipe and connectors. The size is perfect for table top work, possibly portraits too. one added feature is the pair of 1/4 x 20 inserts on the handles. does make mounting easier.
Folding it up turn out to be a chore, I'm used to the round type, and after a number of attempts I realized to do it the same way as a round one, hands placed in opposite directions and twist.

The product is perfect it arrives on time and the handles is a saving. Still hast the opportunity to use it but to be able to have different options for one product that is amazing. The variations is quite useful and I hope to try it soon.

Seems really well made, and I love the handles. I really wish there was even a basic 1-page "instructions for use/care" type pamphlet. It came with nothing. Hey, I'm fairly new to photography, and this is my first reflector. Would have been nice to include a simple instruction to describe: typical uses, care, how to fold it, etc. I shouldn't have to go to youtube to learn to do the most basic function of storing it. Believe me, I tried several ways before I gave up and watched a video in slow motion. If they had but included a single piece of paper, even with nothing more than a link address on it to get me started, then this would have been a 5 star review.

This reflector set is absolutely great! Since it has multiple sides/covers, you get 5 reflectors in one. What I really like is that it came with a black side to cut light. The quality is just as good as any of the more expensive ones I have purchased in the past, and it is a fraction of the cost. Oh how I love these reflectors! I know, it's unnatural to say you LOVE a big round thing that has silver, black, white, or gold panels that reflect light...but they are awesome. They come in a sturdy little bag, and are so easy to "pop" out and to put back into shape when it's time to store them. They are a great size and the handles make all the difference to me. If I'm out in the wind they are easy to hold on to. If I'm inside those handles are GREAT for hanging the reflectors on something nearby if I don't have enough hands to hold them myself.
The whole thing is well made and even after being accidentally stepped on, kicked, and bent a bit too far, it keeps bouncing right back.
I plan to buy other sizes and shapes as I learn more about lighting.
