Fast service and good product
Edges almost as sharp as a butter knife

I wasn't necessarily expecting top quality at this price point, but I was expecting better edges on the blades than this! The "carving knives" were about as sharp as a butter knife - what should be the "edge" was actually rounded over! I did end up with a passably serviceable edge, but only after some quality time with a grinder and a sharpening stone. Basically, what you get out of the box is a wooden handle with a piece of metal shoved in it that you can grind and sharpen yourself if you want a blade that can actually cut something. The gouges and chisel were marginally better, but still weren't what you would call sharp.
The only reason it gets two stars instead of one is that it's cheap and if you work on them, you might end up with sort of usable tools. But two is generous.

I was disappointed with these. They are much smaller than expected, especially the knives. The one that is listed as a chip carving knife has a handle that is too tiny to grip comfortably and the bevel on it is so wide that it can't really be used for chip carving. They did arrive fairly sharp and the steel seems okay. But there was quite a bit of dried glue/resin that had oozed out from the slit where the blade sits. I have a set of Narex bevel edge chisels from Lee Valley that I am happy with, so I was expecting these to be of a similar quality, but they seems much more cheaply made. I would avoid.
