although says adjustable, the tiny velcro patch is not good enough to keep the tam on for a longer time. It slides and falls off. Also, the strip of fabric adjacent to the velvet part which has the velcro looks cheap, dull, stiff and makes your tam stand like a chef-hat (not in a good way). It doesn't look at all!

Worked fine for the ceremony. However, due to the way the tassel needs to fall the Velcro is visible in the front of the tam.
It's the cheap feeling velvet rather than the nice, soft velvet

It's the cheap feeling velvet rather than the nice, soft velvet. I've known others who've ordered the "nice" velvet tam on amazon but I've tried twice and both times received the "cheap" velvet.
The hat was defective. The velcro was already lifting ...

The hat was defective. The velcro was already lifting from the hat, not completely sown on. Very poorly made therefore I am returning it.
