My main thing with shopping for headwear online is that I have a big head. A lot of time hats and hoods on sweaters are way too small for me, and its hard to find stuff that fits me.
I was glad to find out that this one fits me great, and isn't itchy which is another key thing for Santa hats. The color is great, a nice dark red, and it doesn't look like a dollar tree hat made from felt and staples.

My minor complaint about the hat is simply that the white ball has been glued on. I can see and feel the glue on the hat (though I don't think the glue is too noticeable when the hat is on my head), and as a result, the end with the ball is a little stiff. Also, the ball isn't as fluffy as I expected it to be. Again, these are MINOR things for me, as I bought the hat to be worn at home for fun.

My advice for those looking at these reviews, wondering if they should buy it is to just be aware of the glue issue. If that bothers you, I'd pass this item up. If not, go for it! I wanted a rough looking Santa hat comparable to Clark Griswold's hat. Not rough, maybe "full?" The white trim on the bottom is pretty textured. I liked that. But the white Pom is ok. It's a little matted. From a distance you can't tell. So it looks really great. But up close you kind of start seeing little imperfections like weird sewing. But it's minimal and no biggie compared to the cost. You can't beat this cost. Oh the red velvet is also nice. I originally hated the hat. But I think I actually really really like it now. I changed my review from 2 (I was harsh) to 4 stars because it is a nice rough/full and textured Santa hat. I'm content and would recommend this for anyone.
