The hat is very nice. Fit is good, large is about 7 1/2 in US hat size. Down side is it doesn't match the color of any uniform I've found so far. It's still good and will be using it for non costumed events.

Look - I have a huge head. So, 8 times out of 10 an XL is a great fit. This one is a little large. I have previously bought an Imperial uniform and of course need an accompanying cap. Not a criticism, but an observation - Light cotton, doesn't hold shape and a paler shade than my purchased Imperial uniform from Amazon. Not the end of the world. Great shape pattern to match original, great lining and authentic looking cap badge. Good value for the price.
