I did a lot of research before I chose this food processor. I like that it's made in Europe instead of China, and it comes with a large number of useful attachments that feel sturdy and well-made. I also get a wide range of speed settings for different scenarios. Previously, I had been trying to make purees with a blender and had to chop up a lot of it with a knife before the blender could handle it, which defeated the purpose. This food processor had no problem liquefying everything in about 10 seconds. I was skeptical that the blades would catch it all, but it ended up needing no help from me.

The Braun saves me a lot of time and even gives me the tools to experiment, rather than just following along with the exact recipe ingredients and measurements. I'm a happy customer.
Quiet performance, easy clean up, good addition to my kitchen gadgets.

This is my first food processor, never had one before, always used Borner mandoline for shredding/slicing/etc. I bought this processor in January and I waited a couple of weeks to write a review.
It took me some time to get accustomed to use it, as it does with any new appliance. I did some shredding, slicing, cake dough mixing, I used the juicer, the chopper and the whipping attachment. Here are my thoughts and notes on how the processor works.

1) Juicer - works pretty decent, better than the low cost plastic ones, but not as nice as really expensive high-speed juicers. It takes me 30 to 40 seconds to get all juice out of a half of orange.

2) Slicer - works great on hard vegetables, like carrots and beets. To slice apples for Apfelkuchen (German Apple cake) is a breeze! Does not work on onions, I have to continue using Borner for that.

3) Shredder - works great for carrots and beets. My processor comes with two shredding attachments, used both, liked both for different dishes. Tip - after shredding carrots and beets wipe the white plastic part with oil, it takes away the coloring. After you shred something there is this little piece that keeps getting stuck between the disk and the plastic cover, as some of the reviewers had noticed. However, it does not bother me, as with any shredding system you would have some little pieces of the vegetable left.

4) Whipper - whips as expected.

5) Chopper - I like it a lot. It does not mash things, you can still taste little pieces, which for some dishes, like tapenade or gaspasho is crucial. It does not blend (and it's not supposed to) - I wanted to make mango mousse, but I could still see little tiny pieces of mango, so I finished the work with the stick blender.
However, mashed potatoes come out really mashed and perfect!
You need to use the chopper for the cake dough and it works great. Tried it for pancake batter as well as for a couple of cakes and everything came out excellent .

The processor very quiet. I do not think it's bulky, it is very compact and I like the design.
Clean up is easy. Everything interlocks very securely. It might present a problem for storing, as the parts are of different shape and size. However, I found a good system of storing it, so it does not clutter the kitchen (the processor with the bowl and cover goes into one big plastic container that slides on my shelf, and all the parts go into another smaller container that goes on the same shelf).

I wish the instructions would be more specific, may be with some examples of recipes you can make, and what attachments you can use for it.

I hope you'll find my comments useful and it will help you to make your decision.
So far so good

Of course it's easy to want to be trendy and get the same kitchen aid or cuisinart that everyone else has. But I spent countless hours researching which food processor to get. Ultimately I kept coming back to this one. I am glad I got it and hope it lasts for years to come. I love to put on the medium hole shredder and toss in a bunch of Brussels sprouts down the shoot. I use to spend so Much time trying to finely shred them by hand. Use the bigger shredder and put some blocks of cheese down the shoot. Now you have your own shredded cheese without the extra garbage that the cheese people put on their already grated cheese. Salsa is amazingly easy in this machine. I just put on the s blade and add all my ingredients. Give it a whirl and it's just as good as restaurant salsa. I wish they sold an attachment storage container but for now I just keep everything in a plastic tub I bought at target.
Very Nice Food Processor

I needed to replace a Cuisinart food processor that I had had for 20 years. After reading the reviews, I made the switch to the Braun. While it may have been a bit more "spendy" than I would have liked, there is no question as far as how well it works. It came with several attachments which makes it very versatile. I really like that the blade and the bowl are deep enough so I don't have my fingers in the batter when removing the blade from the bowl. I've used it twice and am very pleased with the results. Am looking forward to getting as many years from this product as I did from its predecessor.
Love my Food Processor.

Have been using this a few weeks and so far we love it. I did a bunch of research and read a lot of reviews before choosing this model. So happy with our choose. I love it. My husband loves it. We started eating a lot more whole foods at the first of the year and this machine makes cutting up and purring everything a breeze. We made delicious hummus last night. I'm super picky and attached to Sabra and what we made is equal. I'm so happy. I love that this machine comes with so many blades and the juicer. You have pretty much all you need without paying for extras for fries or other cuts. Makes the price so worth it. It runs pretty quiet for what you are doing also. I have a Vita-mix also which is super loud for some similar blending functions.
