I wanted to divert downspout water to rain barrels, and after a lot of research, this was the best way to do it. There is a little valve you can use to control the direction the water flows. Great product. They only sent one even though I ordered two, but they immediately corrected it and were great. Highly recommend their products. Thanks Aquabarrel!

Works perfect. Attached to 2x3 vinyl downspouts with no issues. Directs water to rain barrel until it's full and then I can redirct it back into drain pipe. Works great when expecting heavy rain that will overfill the rain barrel. Has little plastic nubs to lock the lever in place so it doesn't move on its own.

Water still comes out of the side that should be closed. Just very very slowly. So it's not perfect but it's great for my rain barrel. Pretty expensive though.
