Cozy Parrot Hideaway Tent - for Conures, Quaker Parrots, rosellas, Ringneck Parrots and Birds of Similar as Single or Tent/Hammock Combinations - Made in The USA (Night Sky Single)

Key features
- •These tents are made in the United States with the highest quality material that we could find. We tested many different fabrics, but this super-soft plush fabric won hands-down. It is not only cozy, but also easy-care (machine washable on delicate cycle).
- •This tent perfectly suited for one or two conures, quaker parrots, ringneck parrots, rosellas and birds of similar size. A tent should be sized appropriately for a bird. If it is too large, it won't offer the cozy environment they crave, nor protection from cold drafts.
- •We created a standard tent, and a "tent-hammock combo". This listing is for the standard single tent.
- •Chew-resistant Loops: The weakest point for such a tent is usually the hanging loop. Birds will typically chew through those first. So we used strong ½" Polypro Webbing with a 300 lbs tensile strength (it is also UV resistant and UV Resistant & Water proof/mildew resistant) and welded D-Rings. The base is strengthened with a 0.06 ABS plastic sheet, which is strong and will hold up to washing machines as well, as long as it is washed in delicate circle.
- •Approx. Size: Medium Tent: 9 inches high x 10 inches deep x 5.5 inches wide. Please refer to the photos for precise dimensions and make sure that you have a cage that will accommodate this size of "pet bed"

Birds love to chew and tear
Book Lady✓ Verified Purchase•September 16, 2017
Dangerous Item. Birds love to chew and tear. My conure likes to create his own nest. This is a double faced bed. Unbeknownst to me, he had chewed a hole through the side big enough to crawl in. I found him trapped inside between the two faces, unable to get out. I had to scissor him out. I will never buy this item again.

Really soft and plush, really well made, but.....Way too large for my black-capped conure. It's been 2 weeks. He won't even go inside so far. It takes up too much room in his cage, which is large Large Size W/ Two Doors 32"(W) X 19"(D) X 69"(H). Maye, he might later.

Cant really complain about the size. It is certainly is a lot bigger than advertised. Bird is having a tough time chewing through the bottom already. if this can hold up for a couple months, its a winner in my book.
Almost more than I was comfortable spending, but zero regrets at all!!!

Excellent quality and craftsmanship. We have two green cheek conures in seperate cages and both birds used them for beds the first night despite nave have used anything like this since we got them.
Some species probably arent as bold, so give them time because I believe they'll eventually love sleeping in one of these.
This is such an underrated part of a conure's cage, if your bird doesn't have a hammock tent or something similar, get one now! These birds should never be forced to perch 24/7, they need to be able to lay down and rest their feet when they sleep.
