I have been using a cane on and off for about 20 years.
1) I am ambivalent about the push button control to adjust the length of the cane. It is nicer to use than the traditional "peg and hole" of other adjustable height canes, but it makes it harder to get back to the same setting. I change my setting frequently, depending if I am walking barefoot, the type of shoe, or if I am walking on sand or snow.
2) Love the fact that the handle is rubberized. That way when you lean it against the wall, it is less likely to slide and fall to the floor than with a hard plastic handle. The rubberizing also helps when you balance the cane on the edge of a table.
3) The handle looks a bit scary to use with the crown that sticks up, but it works.
4) The tip maintains more surface area contact with the ground throughout your stride over a traditional tip.

I'd never used a cane before buying this one, so I have no basis for comparison. I can say the following:
- the ability to adjust the cane length precisely, rather than in 1/2" or 1" increments is great. The cane fits me perfectly, and if it doesn't, I can adjust the height exactly as little or as much as needed.
- I like the somewhat big foot, with the "rocker panels". I feel pretty secure in letting the cane "angle" as I move through a normal step, knowing that I'm not depending on a thin edge of a flat foot.
- I've been using the cane daily, everywhere except inside my home, for about 4 weeks. I've found the hand grip to be very comfortable, even though I'm a big lady and often lean fairly heavily on the cane as I walk. The grip, combined with the precisely right cane length, keeps my wrist almost completely straight, in line with my forearm. I have not experienced any loss of strength in my grip, nor any pain, soreness, or stiffness in my fingers, hand, wrist, or any part of my arm up to and including my shoulder.
- So far, the cane is holding its' length (not collapsing into itself at all) despite, as I mentioned above, the fact that I often lean on it fairly hard.
I hope the cane continues to stand up to the use I make of it, only time will tell. But so far I am completely satisfied, and I feel that the cane is well worth what I paid for it. I resisted using a cane for longer than I should have, but now I'm getting used to it and I'm not sorry I made the decision.

I have been using this cane for a few days now. I love it. I have the larger tip made by the same company, same design that I bought for my other cane. The tip on this one is smaller, but it works fine. I love this tip design. Small or large, it works well and feels good.
The handle is good. I like it. That pad on the handle they called foam, but it doesn't feel like foam. However it does offer some cushioning and once I got used to it, I find it very comfortable.
If you look at the picture of the cane you can see that the handle is centered over the cane pole. That was brilliant of them to do. This cane just feels right, and that is one reason. Some canes come close to that, but this cane does it, and does it well.
The length adjustment feature is fabulous. On my old cane, I only had a few settings, and if one made the cane too tall and one made it too short, I was stuck with one or the other. As we all know, our shoes can make a difference in where we set the cane length. This one can be set much more precisely. It amazes me. I'd like to see inside one of these canes to see how that works. SO easy to set.
So far I am very happy with this cane, very! I will post again if I run into anything else I want to say.

Worked for me

Ironically, I first bought this cane for my Father needed some a cane with some extra stability and I tried all sorts of cane heads and he noticed he was only using a small part of the head which was defeating the purpose. I found 1 head that worked pretty well and at some point I noticed this cane and since my father has significant problems with his hands and wrist and it had an interesting looking tip. I bought this for him. He loved the tip but did not like the handle. Unfortunately, I also use a cane and it to me to try and I had cellulite a few months ago in my right and have some tendinitis for years. For me the Handle was very comfortable and although I was doing ok with a standard cane tip walking with this tip feels more natural. The only thing I don't like about the cane is that sometimes it gets stuck will trying to pull it out of grocery cart and it throughs the sizing off so, I need to re-ajust the cane and that's why I didn't give you 5 stars but as I mentioned the handle through not good for my father has helped me and we both like the tips. I bout my father another one of your tips that could on a offset cane with a handle that is more comfortable. He will be trying that ergonomic cane/crutch hybrid that you make. Which at least in theory should give him some extra stability while taking pleasure of his hand and wrist and he already likes the cane tip. I saw it on amazon the other day thought it was worth a try.
Well worth the price!

This is by far the best cane I have ever owned. I find the handgrip to be extremely comfortable, and I have CTS and arthritis in my thumb. The Ergocap is well-designed and there really is a shock-absorbing effect as the manufacturer claims. The only drawback is that the cap moves away from the optimal position and needs to be re-adjusted, but I am trying to work on a solution. Since the cap needs to be removable it can't be anchored or glued. I am so glad that I took the risk of paying twice what I usually pay for a cane; I definitely hit the jackpot!
