Works and looks terrific. The two drawbacks were the gas fitting pointing directly down prevented the existing drawer underneath to close fully. I changed the gas fitting with an 90 degree elbow to facilitate the drawer. Secondly, the under counter retaining bracket supplied didn't accommodate our new granite countertop and had to be left off. Once installed. We truly love it.
Broken burner after 14 months of purchase, stay away!

I purchased this cooktop last January. It is only under warranty for one year from purchase. Well 14 months later I was cooking with middle burner, the knob wouldn't turn, got it loose a little and the burner will not shut off with the knob off. So the gas is continuously coming out of the burner with the knob off.
I called Frigidaire and basically no help, they said it's only covered a year but they will pay for the part it will need. The part company has to be a authorized Frigidaire repairer. They can't find one in my area. So basically I'm stuck with a stovetop that the middle burner is constantly on which is a complete hazard. I had to shut the gas off below.
I an NOT HAPPY considering this cooktop is only 14 months old.
I would look for another cooktop that doesn't break after 14 months!!

This replaced a 30" 4 burner cook top. This 5 burner has plenty of room with the control knobs in the front for using more than 2 burners at a time. The product arrived in great condition and works perfectly. Very easy to install if you have basic electric and mechanical skills.

A month into owning this cooktop the rubber feet on the grills disentegrate and fall out. Still have to contact Frigidaire for replacements. In addition the center burner no longer lights as I think some stuff got in there. Surface scratches super easy. My first experience with stainless steel and didn't realize how sensitive the material is. Other than that, it cooks well, and provides good temperature control.

Great product - was easy to install but I did have to cut a bit more out of my granite to meet the minimum specs. If you're doing the install yourself: The pressure regulator is recommended for both natural gas and LP - I confirmed with Fridgidare after I found considerable debate in forums.
The replacement install would have taken 20 minutes if not for the need to expand the existing cutout. The quality on this produce is excellant and comparable with models much more expensive. I compared several other models from GE, Bosch, etc...this came out on top and at a lower cost. Center burner is great and despite the size, the use of space allows for multiple burner use without feeling crowded. Arrived in perfect condition.
