Good value and works as advertised. Arrived slightly bent in a couple of places due to shipping carelessness but not sufficient to spend return cost.

I do a lot of "cooking" and "baking" at home, if you know what I mean.

This freezer is perfect for keeping certain reagents - I mean "ice cream flavors" - at around 32 F. While it is not a rated lab-grade product, as long as your exhaust hood is working you don't have to worry about ignition of gases around the exposed electrical parts in the rear.

This goes perfectly with my Schlenk line and rotavap in terms of style and decor.

I bought this because I needed something for longer camping trips and can't afford a dedicated camping freezer/fridge. I really like it. It's big enough to be useful but it's not so big that it won't fit in my car, Nissan Altima, with all the rest of my gear, with a roof box, for a week and a half with a kid still in a carseat. I would honestly recommend buying something like this, even if you don't want this particular one, instead of just for camping because it's been awesome for overflow in the house. No real issues with frost. I have had it for a while now and it's been fantastic. It even has a lock on it so you can chain it to a tree and lock it up or you can put stuff in it you don't want people messing with in it. Like medicine type things. I'm not sure what meds can go in a freezer but you can't open it without the key if you lock it. I recommend it. I did buy a drip pan to put under it but there's been no drippings.

took me a month to decide to order this little 1.1cu.ft at such a lowered price, fearful of what shape it would be in. there was no description of why it was just 'acceptable' - the lowest sellable warehouse ranking. I imagined big dents, scapes, holes, messed-up wiring.
what I received - packed like it had never been opened, but bottom of box was wet. keys, scraper and mini ice cube tray included. no dents or blemishes. the door opens left-to right and the freezer sat level right off the bat so didn't have to mess with any tools (thankfully!) I let it sit upright unplugged for 14 hrs, then plugged it in - surprisingly made no sound at all. put in the included little ice tray to test, it froze quickly. it is filled with 'expendable' stuff for now (until I am confident) and continues to work fine - freezing hard set at 3.
it is only about 8" deep on the bottom shelf (the enclosed motor takes up the inside room at the back) but it's nearly 18" high and wide - enough space to give needed relief to the overjammed cross-top freezer on my refrigerator.
the only issue I have come across - the door catches on the lock receptacle that sticks out on the center bottom when I close it even tho the freezer is level - maybe that is why it was deemed used/acceptable? I tilted it back from what looked to be level ever so slightly and now the door doesn't catch. at the 5 week mark it is still working fine, silent with just a bit of frost buildup. will 'edit to add' if any problems arise, but for now am so glad I finally ordered it!

I'm enjoying my new freezer; I just expected it to be a tad larger.
