It does give me a weird twitching belly feeling when it's on. It could just be since I'm not used to having used a tens meter in the past.
It does take the pain away for a few hours too. Very compact so easy to take around.
The only reason I marked it 4 stars instead of 5 since it felt weird to me. Again, this was probably because I'm not used to such an object.

This unit is very light weight and portable. Works excellent and remains charged for hours. The sixty minute timer makes it ideal for use on those days when exhaustion is immense but a massage is still very much needed. Have yet to use the full intensity levels it comes with but what I have used works wonders and feels great. A very BIG plus for this product is its inability to be used while plugged in. This feature will prevent any electrical surges from damaging the user and the product itself! Kudos to the individual who thought this up!
The cost is less than ONE physical therapy session! What have you got to lose?!

I got this with very low expectations, even with all the great reviews, but this little gadget has proved to be amazing! Easy to use, you just stick the pads where you want the stimulation (if you've been to physical therapy it helps to know where to position them), plug the wire into the unit, pick the type of pattern of stimulation and turn it to a comfortable setting. Easy to set the timer. You can stick these on and tuck it in your pocket. It makes a huge difference -- I get muscles that start seizing up, which then can make my back spasm, so being able to stop the muscles from acting up in the first place with this unit is very helpful.
I like the fact that it's rechargeable instead of needing batteries, although I haven't even charged it yet, and I've used it several times. The pads are very sticky, so they are able to be used many times over. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it would be nice to have a setting that "rolls" like the professional ones. This one the setting I like goes on and off instead of going low to high, but that's a small critique. I hope when they make improvements they will add a constant setting like that. But it still works extremely well for such a reasonable price!

Never knew of these devices before I needed one. Looking forward to TENS at the end of physical therapy wasn't enough. A friend recommended this and when it arrived I was shocked (pun intended) at the size of it. It's itty bitty. The directions are so tiny I didn't bother with them. Not so hard to figure out. To sum it up, it works almost as well as the unit in the hospital. How it will last, I can't say, but even if it dies in a month, its still worth it.

Product works great and I think is a great deal at this price point. The company seems very good as well. I had a minor problem with one of the connection leads where one of the 4 heads wouldn't snap on the the electrode. This can happen occasionally and I feel is a minor oversight, I do not think it was a major defect in the product. Everything worked very well except for that one lead. Anyway I sent the company a quick email once I noticed the problem and they quickly responded with the order number for the new lead. It arrived very soon and everything continues to work great. I would purchase this again for a friend!
