Doesn't work well with Ooma Lynx

I replaced an old 7 year very similar VTech that developed problems with 2 of the remote phones. I ordered the CS6929-4 system which worked well for 2 weeks than developed a problem whereas the called person could not understand the caller due to distortion. Problem turned out to be a low signal from the base station caused by a Ooma Lynx. Even though the problem turned out to be cause by an Ooma Lynx the 2 times I called VTech customer service I was sent to India and the Philippines and the operators were hard to understand but tried to solve the problem. If they had US customer support I would have given VTech 5 stars.

I received the phone package on time. Packaged nicely. There wasn't any damage to the VTech box at all. I have excellent reception most of the time. I think the few times there was a problem, it was on the part of my carrier and not the phone. It was an easy set up. The directions are easy to follow. I never have a problem with clarity on either the caller's or my ends. The only complaint I have is very minor. The alert beeping that there is a new message is just a little too quiet. Highly recommend for home use.

Great phone system if you wish to serve multiple locations within the same house. Only the main needs the landline plugged in, all the others need is an AC outlet.. You can utilize the built in answering service or disengage it with one button press.. Most of you have cell phones but for those who don't, if the power fails, all phones fail. Get an old fashioned landline phone to plug in somewhere, it will continue to function thru a power outage, otherwise just use yiour cell phone.. PS this system has headset finders and a male voice on answer if that makes you females feel safer, it's not a bad idea.

I like so many features about this phone system. It lights up, so it's easier to use in dim light. It has a Speaker Phone, which I find so useful when I'm trying to talk, but need my hands free for an additional chore. The Intercom feature is so helpful. It allows me to contact another handset w/o needing to leave my current location. The sound is crystal clear. It was easy to program. The handsets are narrow, which is good for us, people with small, arthritic hands, which tend to cramp up when needing to fully spread out to hold wider handsets for any length of time. ....I've had this Phone System for just a week, but so far, I am very happy I made the change. No complaints; just praises!!

When the phone lines in our house let us down, we were told to buy something like this because we could connect to our modem and still have home phone service. Actually, we wanted to get rid of home phone service but thanks to Time Warner, when we get rid of a service, our cost increases A LOT. So, these phones, on 3 levels of our house, are working well and keep our cable bill manageable. The phones were very easy to program - still learning about some of the basic functions - and fit well in our hands. The bases are small enough to fit in concealed places. Very satiisfied. Very impressed.
