Perfect gliding door lock replacement
Kevin•September 15, 2017
Bought this as a replacement and very happy with the purchase. We have been using it for almost a year now and it still works like it was brand new and we frequently use this lock. It was an easy fix and would highly recommend!
PERFECT replacement for old door...
WiseCrew•September 14, 2017
PERFECT replacement for an old style lock on our Andersen door! EASY install.. I did it MYSELF, no hubby needed! I unscrewed the old lock plates, carefully removed the old, broken lock, held the new lock in place ensuring the inner latch thing was STRAIGHT out & that it went into the mechanism inside the door, screwed it in place, & VOILA!!

PERFECT easy install for the broken latch on my Andersen patio door on the house we bought! (whispers) easy on the pocketbook. Took me less than five to replace as I reused the piece that comes out the side of the door. If that is broken on yours you will need to order that seperately.
Fit perfect. Last one lasted 13 years

Exactly as described. Fit perfect. Last one lasted 13 years. We will have to wait and see how long this one lasts.
Direct (OEM?) METAL replacement - 5/31/17
Occupy Bawl Street com•May 31, 2017
Unlike some reviews, MINE IS METAL, easy replace... is only/exactly what you see PLUS metal flamed that inserts into existing mechanism. >>> make sure you removed all broken parts in mechhanism cylinder... I used needle nose players, tweezers should also do it.
