Worked to mount my antenna to my chimney. I used a 1 1/4" emt conduit in place of an antenna mast. I had to enlarge the u bolt holes to make it work. Seems to be working fine so far. 3 months already.
Double-back the strap

Throw away the instructions and this set is perfect. I suggest pulling the straps through and then double back so that when you begin to tighten, it will pull the straps tight.

It's definitely very solid... and half the price of another competitor brand on here. Would work wonderfully in a pinch as a weapon for a zombie apocalypse. Though, I'd definitely recommend affixing a serrated knife or something to one end (use duct tape).

This is what is describes & then some. It only took me but one strap to attach both pieces. However be sure before tightening to slide the crimped pieces all the way near the U-bolt, to aviod it slipping when you are tightening & taking up the slack
