Bought this for the brim snap buttons on sides, wind-secure neck strap, and most importantly the back flap that protects my ears from sunburn without being comically large or obstructive.

I got the olive drab color and used it all summer to build a ski lift. I like the style and function. Color is thoroughly sun-bleached now. Repeat washing has also reduced brim rigidity to a wave of fabric under my hardhat that looks pretty ridiculous now. I still wear it daily for the shade and warm it gives my ears. I bought another in Desert Tan to offset bleaching, but the brim has not worn nearly as well the first hat so i rarely use it. Inconsistent build quality.

My husband really likes this hat. Have not washed it yet , so I don't know how well it will wash. All I know is that he likes the hat for when he goes fishing or when he uses it for mowing the lawn etc etc. Gives sun protection for the neck , what other hats don't do.

Bought for my son. Wasn't sure if he would like it, but he does. Said it was a tiny bit tight when he first put it on, but he's wearing it.

Excellent quality and fits perfectly. Far superior to a standard ball cap which I wore for years.

The hat is airy and well vented. The hat gives great neck sun protection. Good fit. Comfortable. Good hat.
