Works perfect!
Chris•August 8, 2017
Awesome. Just perfect for what I needed. My reef has been up and running now since January. The saw bit worked perfectly for 3 holes in my aquarium though it seems everyone suggests doing no more than two (I'm a dangerous man) and the box is well built.
Some complain about the teeth being uneven, but this is a non issue for me once the aquarium is filled with water, rock, fish, etc. You will not be looking at the box hard enough to notice the less than 1/4" inconsistencies if your tank is filled with beautiful fish/coral/plants/whatever. Let's be honest, this is a part for DIY enthusiasts. You're going to be using silicone to attach this to something you've drilled holes into yourself. Your work is not likely to look like it came from a factory when closely examined either. If you think you can do better, why not just make your own? If factory style perfection matters THAT much to you, you'd fork over the money for a pre-built reef ready aquarium in the first place.
Recommendation - install this thing and build an awesome reef tank!

Awesome little kit

Awesome little kit. Used every piece this came with. Overflow can definitely handle more than 1500gph as I have a 1822gph return pump running at full blast and this thing overflows just fine with it. The drill bit worked great for 5 holes and was in good shape to drill a few more I'm sure. Bulkheads were good quality and worked great.

It works well and from a far looks great! The rough cut edges on the front of the box aren't the most appealing up close. Hole saw worked great.
Good overflow box
