This is a great product at a reasonable price. I use it for cooking, skin, hair, and oral care. Coconut oil is nothing less than a miracle for teeth and gums, and it makes a great curry! (Remember that old SNL skit, "it's a floor wax, no it's a dessert topping?") I also mix it in my cat's food, as she has congenital gum disease. She started to lose teeth at the age of five, and her breath could knock me over. The coconut oil has completely halted her recurring infections and and she has stopped losing teeth. And now her breath is not noticeable at all. And her fur is as soft as a bunny's too top it off! I also oil pull with this as well, to stave off the gum problems that come with aging.

I rub a little coconut oil on my lips, and follow with a little vaseline with coco butter to seal in the moisture before bed, and my lips are soft and silky smooth this winter, when they are usually horribly dry and cracked. And it seems that my lips are also regaining their youthful color as well.

And as a bonus, the oil is packed in a nice heavyweight jar suitable for repurposing. I remove the labels and use them for bulk foods.

I don't mess around when it comes to coconut oil. I usually purchase a small jar of Traditions Coconut Oil because it has the best flavor. But we were going through these little jars far too quickly. We are vegan and use coconut oil for so many things in our house, eating...making deodorant and soaps, hair and skin etc. I often take a small spoonful daily and consume it plain. The flavor is extremely important to me. It's also very important that you purchase unrefined/organic oil in its raw form, for the health benefits.
I purchased this brand hoping for a good quality oil in a much larger quantity. I am impressed with the price. I was anxious for its arrival to test the quality but honestly didn't expect to be pleased. I was paying the same price for 1/3 of the amount prior to this purchase.
I inspected and compared the color and texture to my expensive oil first. Surprisingly identical. (See photo) . Then I retrieved my small spoon and dug in. It was smooth and creamy. Just like my expensive brand. I tried another bite just to be sure. :) I at least expected a bit of a difference...a reduction in flavor due to some type of non-mentioned additive or something. But it's truly delicious. We are paying so much more for a label. Buy this coconut oil.

We eat this raw, in smoothies, cooking, fill capsules along with herbs &/or essential oils, skin & hair care. Including soap making, oil pulling, toothpaste, deep conditioning hair treatments etc. Some of the shredded coconut I've purchased has been a little dry. I liquefy some coconut oil & incorporate it with the shredded coconut to give it a fresh, incredible taste. Whole Coconut oil is oily/ greasy when applied to skin but penetrates & deeply conditions when massaged in. Beautiful product I will definitely purchase again. 🌴🌴🌴

I've been using this brand of coconut for over a year and I am very pleased with the packaging, quality, smell and taste. I've purchased 14 jars since March of this year and have never had a problem with the quality. During the summer months it is usually delivered in liquid form, but thats to be expected. I live in Maryland and it gets hot here. During the winter its delivered solid. That is not a reflection on quality, it is the nature of coconut oil. Never has a jar broken. Never has a jar leaked. Never have I received a bad batch. We use it for cooking and I put it in my morning coffee. There is only the slightest hint of a coconut smell or taste with this brand, that is why I buy it. I have always been happy with this coconut oil. It is a great quality coconut oil and as long as the price stays around $15 a jar, I will continue to purchase this brand.

The 1st time I bought this brand of coconut oil it was great! Seemed like normal coconut oil. The second time, not so much. The box was oily when it arrived and the oil was completely liquid, which made sense at the time since it was 90 degrees outside but even after bringing it in it was watery, even when putting it in the fridge it's not hard like the carrington farms brand I used to buy (I didn't have any issues once with that brand). Well I used up that container in my hair and for lotion, etc and it was fine for cooking eggs and stuff but I didn't like the results of baking with it, everything came out too moist. Anyways, since it's in my subscribe and save order and is cheaper than carrington farms I decided to give it one more chance. My jar arrived yesterday and again, totally liquid. I left it overnight in my air conditioned (72 degrees) kitchen on the bottom shelf where it's coolest to see what woule happen and it's still completely clear, liquid; hasn't solidified even a little bit. I highly doubt this product is what it says it is and the company seems a little sketchy too (looked up the address, phone number and website and they are all very suspect. Address isn't even a company, it's just a shipping location like a P.O. Box or something and the website is very simplistic and not very professional looking...). If you're thinking I'd buying this then be aware of these things and that it's probably a coin toss on whether you recieve a good product or not...I'm returning this and going back to good ole Carrington, it's worth the $4 more.
