High quality knee brace

Recovering from an acl injury and having misplaced my previous donjoy playmaker 2 brace this brace was a quarter of the cost but just as good. If you are just recovering from a serious knee injury than I would go for the more expensive model. However my knee is almost fully recovered and just needs some reassurance which this brace gives 100%.

Nicely made, supportive, and relatively comfortable but too small. I used the measurements on the guide but the brace was too tight and restrictive (S), I had to send it back for a size up (M) which they did not have at that time. The small is for a very small adult or average child.

I bought this brace following my Pilates instructor's advice. When I first put it on I thought I wouldn't be able to use it as the pressure on both sides was painful. I decided to try it at the gym the next day. It is the first time in along time that I felt no pain whatsoever during my 45minutes on the treadmill. I use it when I go hiking too and again I have no pain any longer. Amazing! Only comment it came without instructions and I think I needed a Medium size instead of Small. I am 5'4" and 110 pounds but with strong legs.

Very sturdy and limits MOST lateral and hyper extensive movements. Certainly FAR superior to cheaper slip on with strap
braces. If one is between sizes, I suggest going up. The straps are very sturdy, no back of knee discomfort, easy to wrap on
but a little tight within the securing loop. They do not mention which knee; I called Amazon. They stated right, but it appears
reversible. I only use it for walking so can not comment on athletics. Worth the money and recommend.

Helps with pain but also caused pain

I got it and I put it on and the edges from the Velcro under the fabric was poking me and so I tried to put tape there so it was would hit my skin but I wore it for around 30 mins and now have a cut on my leg from it. I have a solution for it but either way it could be make a little safer.
Update: The Velcro under the fabric NEEDS the corners cut (rounded) It digs into my skin way too much! It's help with knee pain, but then stabs me and it's becoming hard to deal with.
