Bought this for the hubby; however, the fit is tight. Even on me, it was snug on my head. He still wore it on 4th of July, so I guess if you're only wearing it for the day and not all the time, it's not a big deal.

Got this hat for Independence Day and US Soccer games. Perfect hat. Not too big so it doesn't get in the way for other people. The elastic band keeps the hat on snug.
