I like these headphones. Sound is good. High and mids are present. Base is moderate but clean and not splotchy. Some people complain about the braided cord's getting tangled but they all tangle and I found the plastic ones are harder to untangle because they stick together. Braided ones don't. Mic seems accurate dictating texts and emails. I don't walk a lot when talking on the phone so the rubbing on the shirt interference is not an issue for me. I like the bright red chords. They're different and easy to find. Good buy for 25 bucks. Better than the Sony's I got for the same price without the mic.

I had a lot of trouble with these, the first time I got some. I must have been too rough, because they broke off in my phone and I had a great deal of trouble trying to remove it. I had resigned myself to only using blue tooth headphones from now on, but my review drew attention and I was sent a replacement pair. This pair is used with my laptop, and is working just as well as I remembered my first pair working, that is, brilliantly. It has wonderful quality and good sound and it's really easy to drown out other sounds and focus when I'm wearing them. An excellent par of headphones.

Pro:
1. Good customizability. Comes with 3 pairs of "double cups", like those in the picture, and 3 pairs of regular ones.
2. Great sound, I had Sennheiser X300 II, $35. These sound better than those.
3. Cord strength. These are the nylon cords, so must be better than the regular ones likes those on the X300 II which I accidentally yanked it and broke them...
4. Stay in ears well. I jog everyday, these don't fall out.
Con:
1. The color. I got the red cord one, thought it's the darker red in the pictures. Nope, these are BRIGHT red. Like R 255, G 0, B 0, red. But oh well.
2. Cord noise, microphonics. Knocking 1 star off because of this. It's even worse than the $6 Panasonics RPHJE120. So annoying. BUT, but, it comes with a clip which can reduce a SIGNIFICANT amount of the cord noise. But still.
3. Cord tangle very easily. They can actually make knots, multiple ones. But it is expected.
Haven't tested the microphone yet.

They are built well and sound is better than my previous favorite skull candy in ear plugs. I am not a complete audiophile but I do listen critically. I hear no distortion in the highs or lows. The response IMHO is a bit flat but that is good to me since it give me good control using some EQ. All in all I would definitely recommend them to a friend and buy again. Packaging was nice and sturdy. I bought two sets one came with a pouch and the other with a case. Both were quite fine for me.
