My sweet fur baby itched
Kindle CustomerGran✓ Verified Purchase•October 23, 2017
My sweet fur baby itched, itched, itched and was miserable. The vet suggested I go to "grain free". As luck would have it ,RR Nutrish Zero Grain Natural Dry Dog Food was the first to meet the dietary requirement plus my frugal inclinations. AND when it arrived Miss Sophie said "Yes". Now, after a week or two, her itching has disappeared and Sophie likes the food. As a travel-hindered old girl, Amazon plus Rachel Ray has made life easier and made my little pound puppy happy. Very pleased

Took a full month for my medium sized border terrior cross' digestive system to adjust. Currently does not seem to cause excessive thirst or excessive waste. Weight gain has been very nominal over that period, but for a 2-3 year old 30# rescue, his body is more muscular and solid
The kibble is right sized for training, is non dusting. We feed 1.25-1.5 cups per day using a medium sized Kong to encourage thinking skills and dexterity. Not sure about a border terrior's energy levels due to protein intake. He sleeps a lot, but when he's awake, look out!

Our dogs love it

One of our shih tzus is allergic to every thing it seems so we started him on grain free food a couple of years ago. I tried the Rachel Ray food after seeing a commercial for it.
We recently rescued a pit bull that had skin problems from being keep in a small pen his entire life and after some medical treatment from the vet and daily feeding if this he has a beautiful slick coat of hair and energy of a new puppy.

My 3 pugs thrive on this food!

My 3 pugs (17, 10, and 6 year old males) love this food and have thrived on it for several months now. My boys are extremely allergic to grains and fillers and kick and chew incessantly on foods with those ingredients. They have been free of skin allergies since I switched to Zero Grain. I did have to adjust their portions, however, because they got a bit portly on this food. But then again they are pugs!
Cleared up my pup's tummy issues...

My dog has been having a lot of stomach and skin issues... I was using Purina One Sensitive Systems but it wasn't doing the trick... not only was he still having stomach and skin issues, but he was refusing to eat... until he got so hungry that he had no choice.
I switched to Rachael Ray's Zero Grain food... the cost is about the same, the bag is a pound or two smaller, but my dog LOVES it. He still chews his feet, however, his stomach seems a lot better... and he is excited about meal time again!
I know you are supposed to mix the new food with the old food for a bit while their stomachs adjust to the change but my dog just ate the new food and left the old food in his bowl, so we switched him cold turkey and he was fine... :-)
