The lock does exactly what it needs to do. It is long enough to lock both wheels & the frame to a post. The cord also secured 3 bikes (through the frames only) my large hybrid bike, daughter's 18" & son's 16", both with training wheels to a lamp post.
The cord is protected and feels strong, however I would not leave the bike locked up overnight for hours. I believe the wires could be cut. If you're just running into the store or resting at a neighborhood park between long rides, then this lock will suffice.
The bike mount secures the lock to the seat post. I placed mine above the rear tire. This blocks my rear reflector in order to leave the rear led light visible, which is more important. I tried rotating the lock to the front of the seat post, but could feel my legs rub against the lock, which I believe would be annoying during long rides.

Perfect lock for everyday use. Super easy to change the password to my own number combination. I coudlnt really figure out where to attach the holder pieces so I didn't even attach it to my bike, I just have bike lock cord itself wrapped around the middle part of my bike which works perfects.
Wobbly wiggle

My only complaint about this cable lock is that it seems rather 'wobbly' on the mounted holder,...and in other words does not COIL tightly so it kind of wiggles around between my legs while I am riding. I think it will serve the purpose of loss prevention but it is a little annoying.
