I love how light and convenient these lights are, able to change the lighting temperature. I haven't had a problem with them when the fan turns on its not that loud creating an ambient type of sound. If you have good audio equipment it shouldn't pick up the sound of this light.
Missing the gels but the panels are great.

The lights are great. Comparable with the 2 YN300IIIs from a previous purchase. I am giving them 5 stars even though I did not receive the 4 extra gels that are advertised in the bundle. I ordered two panels and received them a week later, all the way out here in Japan.
I have used them for a couple of weeks now in a climate controlled Studio and have not heard the fans kick in once. Either the studio is cold enough, they don't run hot or they don't work. I would like to think that they don't run hot enough to need the fan but, it's nice to know that they are there just in case.
