Great product!
Joseph WJuly 5, 2016
I got it for the tempered protector, not the back. Covers the whole area edge to edge. So don't install it with some buffer room thinking it won't go edge to edge. You'll end up with part of the protector covering non-screen area.

No bubbles, went on great. If you try really hard you'll see the edges very slightly don't adhere. Literal like a hairline at the right angle when the light catches it, which it never does. This is probably because the product has sat at Amazon for a while and the adhesive may have warped at the edges over time with temperature fluctuation in storage or even travel if your state is hot. But don't let this worry you, it's nearly impossible to see.

The back plastic works fine but it's a pain to install. I put it on just to have protection but it's poorly aligned and I definitely got some dust under it. Not a fault of the Gam3Gear. The Vita just has that odd back shape. I would recommend just getting a skin from Amazon or anywhere else to put on the back if you want protection without the hassle of applying thin clear plastic.
I cant begin to tell you how great this worked

I cant begin to tell you how great this worked. I had recently purchased another full body protector for the vita ( llumia aquashield), and a terribly difficult time installing it even with the utmost preparation of a dust free environment. The glass went on quickly and firmly with no sliding around due to the adhesive. I did however have to reapply it once as I had a large air pocket that i couldn't smooth out. Even with that into consideration the install took less than a minute. I compared the image quality against a second vita i own and I personally cant tell any difference in clarity. Touch screen response has so far been perfect as well. The product came as described, including the glass screen protector, a traditional plastic protector for the back touch pad, and a microfiber cloth to wipe the surface pre installation. NOTE: it does not include instructions of any sort aside from a small tag on the glass noting where to peel back the adhesive mask.

All in all, I would highly recommend this to any vita owner looking to protect their system.
Decent quality glass protector; Comes with all the essentials needed to apply it
B. ScottApril 3, 2016
I threw away all of the 'essentials' I mentioned in the review title before writing this review so don't have any images of them to show. This package contains the same items you'd expect to get with any other screen protector kit for any other device. The 'essentials' that you get are:

- 1x The actual screen protector itself
- 1x Wet wipe
- 1x Dry wipe
- 1x Dust cleaning cloth
- 2x Dust removal tape

For those of you who aren't familiar with applying screen protectors to device screens, I'll give a very brief explanation of how the process works. I'm doing this mainly because this kit does not actually come with any instructions. At least, mine didn't.

Step 1: Use the wet wipe to clean the surface of the screen. The wipe is very lightly damp so don't worry about liquid getting inside of your screen or anything like that
Step 2: Use the dry wipe to well, dry your screen since it should be freshly wet by now from Step 1.
Step 3: Use the dust cloth and gently wipe your screen with it to remove as much dust as you can from your screen.
Step 4: Use the dust removal tape (you don't have to use both if it's not necessary) to pick off any stubborn pieces of dust/specks still remaining. It works just like tape. Place the sticky part on the screen to capture any lingering dust you still see, then remove it from your screen. Repeat this over and over until you get all or most of the dust particles off your screen.
Step 5: Apply the screen protector -- Pull the tab you see sticking out of the protector. This should remove the layer of film that was covering the adhesive. Now, simply line it up on your screen so it's even on all sides. Gently place the adhesive side down and apply pressure to make sure it's on for good and won't fall off. Try to get out any remaining air bubbles (hopefully there weren't many!) and Ta-da, you're done.

You only get one shot (for the most part), so make it count. Sometimes, you can get away with removing the protector and quickly placing it down again if your 1st application was way off, had impossible to remove air bubbles, etc., but I highly recommend just trying your best to get it right the first time.

That's it. This is a pretty decent quality screen protector, so you should be good to go as long as you apply it correctly. I also like the packaging it comes in. It's very professional looking. The screen protector protects the ENTIRE front screen of your vita, not just the display. (aka: it covers the black border around the display as well). Considering you'll be using this screen protector for a pretty long time, I think it's well worth the price it's being advertised at. Unless the screen protector fulfills its purpose and breaks due to you dropping your Vita. In that case, it's even more worth buying!
Big, Tough, and Easy on the Eyes

Short and sweet, this is exactly what I was looking for. If you're familiar with tempered glass screen protectors, this is pretty standard. And amazing. And not at a ridiculous price point.

FOR SONY VITA SLIM MODEL, PSH-2000. If you're not sure which model your vita is, you can look at the pictures and compare for yourself, note the circle-shaped PS Home button instead of oval.

Glass itself feels solid, minimal streaks/no bubbles. Covers pretty much all of the screen (as shown in pics). No scratches/imperfections, although I haven't put it through any stress tests or anything like that. Nice and smooth, no problems with responsiveness of the touch screen. It's been over a month and the thing is on there solid, not peeling off or anything like that. Clarity is not a problem at all, screen looks just as good as before.

As for language/instructions, quite a bit of it is... in something other than English. Screen protectors are pretty basic, and if you have any questions/specifics a quick online search will yield plenty of helpful tips/tricks to install. They are a bit tricky to put on without imperfections, fair warning.

Don't use the back touchpad protector at all, thought it was unnecessary with the case I use. Feels like standard flimsy plastic screen protector, and I'm sure it would get the job done if need be (NOT tempered glass, no surprise there). (as pictured, DSSHOP Trigger Grip for PSH2000, link if interested: DHSHOP Black Replacement Trigger PS Vita Hand Grip Holder Cover Case for PS VITA 2000 )

Any questions, comments, or concerns welcome. Thanks for reading, and I hope this helps somehow!
Best type of screen protector.

This fit great on my vita and was easy to install. I have stopped buying anything but tempered glass screen covers when I can. It has saved me many times. Even with my phone which instead of shattering when it was dropped mearly got a small crack on the outer side where the 'seam' is. I feel it will give the same protection to the vita. I have no decrease to the color crispness and no issue with the silicone case around the vita fitting. I recommend using a cleaning tab if you have one. I didn't have one and there was a small hair i didn't know about on the screen that the microfiber didn't get off. Doesn't effect the view, I just see it when the vita screen is off.
