Worked good for fencing
vp✓ Verified Purchase•October 27, 2023
I used these to put up a fence segment, and they work good. They do match green wood pickets well, so they are almost invisible, though probably a decision i'll regret four years from now when the fence weathers to black. I think the little investment in screws instead of nails will keep me from having to go around my fence and hammer popped nails every now and then.
I managed to use almost the entire box of screws without having one bad or stripping any, so I think that's a win. Closest I came to this were too nails that were stuck together by their coating, but they came apart ok.
There is a bit inside the box, but I didn't find it until I finish most of the box. I am not sure what they expect, to dump out the 5lb box to find the tiny bit? They should just tape it to the inside of the lid or something.

Good Screws - 1 in 200 Defective - Good Bite - Nice Coating

These screws give a good bite when screwing into treated lumber. The screws seat well and seem to have a good finish coat of paint on them. I found that about 3 to 5 of the screws in the box are defective, and that is not awful at all. Quite remarkable if you ask me. The screws are higher in price but I see that everything has gone up in the past few years. I'm using these to reinstall a fence on my property and will go through about 8,000 in all. So far I'm very pleased with the outcome.
They do screw-y things

Wood screws. Pretty simple! I built a whole deck using these a year ago and they held up to the rain and snow with no problem! I highly recommend them for any outdoor project. There was no need to pre-drill holes (but you may want to to be on the safe side of not cracking plank wood) and the torx heads go not strip if you are mildly careful.
convenient and top quality
