High Quality screws. Philips screws can strip, but mined did not.

I had no issues with stripping the heads. High quality screws. I used a hammer drill driver (DeWalt) with plenty of force behind it. I drove in the top hinge of my sticking doors. Worked like a charm to attach the hinges to the home door frame, not the jamb. This pulled the top of the door (where it closes) away from the jamb preventing problematic sticking.

We changed all the hardware on our front door to brushed bronze. Unfortunately, the screws that come with the hinges we bought were only 1 1/4in and our door is solid and heavy and I wasn't feeling too good about it. Glad I found these. They match the color great and was able to get them to sink into the stud beyond the frame.
The screws worked as designed.
