The ones I used did work but materials they were made from not as good quality of other wood screws I've used in past.
I stripped out head on a couple in low torque mode which surprised me but got them in.
Bottom line
For a small job on a repair this did work for me vs. going local buying 2 or 3 different boxes one off.
