Love this in the bottom of roaster pan when cooking to prevent sticking. Usually hand-wash stainless steel pots and pans, but I have run this through the dishwasher multiple times without any problems or discoloration.
Steamed pudding cooks well!

Bought this to use with a glass pudding mold for steaming Christmas puddings; placed it underneath the mold to keep the mold off the bottom of the steaming pan and allow optimal circulation of the water bath around the pudding; this worked very well and the pudding came out awesome!
