Good value throw away as used up

I'm pretty impressed with these little detail brushes. They appear to be good brushes, rather than the evil brushes who kick out their bristle brothers just to leave them behind and screw up your project. (My biggest pet peeve with any brush!) The bristles all arrived in shape, without any wacky relatives that will leave stray marks, leading me to believe the bristle brothers must have been chosen to reside in the same brushes because they get along so well. Envision each brush as a large, happy family...and the group of 12 brushes as the houses on the block. The family seems happy to be together, and the neighbors work really well together. (Is this the dumbest analogy you've ever read? It's probably the dumbest one I've ever written...but you're still reading, and I'm still writing...) So I imagine this little community, right down to each family member, is productive, happy, and puts out great work. The community (all the brushes) is a wonderful fit, allowing the user to get into tight spaces - without frustration.

Clean, thin lines are finally possible - and it's incredibly easy to get in the smallest of spaces with these tiny gems. Although I use these in mixed media art, I was somewhat surprised when my nail lady pulled out the exact same set when she did my nails. I was happy with my nails - and glad to see the happy Italian family tree is branching out. (Sorry.) I have only used these three times, but that far exceeds my expectations for brushes that I paid about $1.66 for individually. Closer to Christmas, I'm going to purchase a set for a neighbor who is really into making model ships and airplanes.
