Broken due to stripped threads

I got two of these. They were great at first and helped stop carpal tunnel syndrome when sitting at the computer for hours, but both of the bolts stripped the threads in the clamp portion making them useless. I've tried a few things to rig it to work and it's just not worth it. Any solutions at this point will make it so they cannot be removed or adjusted which defeats the purpose.

I did research on several of these type of armrests. I noticed I started have a sore shoulder in the evenings and suspected in may have been due to using the P/C all day which necessitated holding my arm up. So, I got this articulating arm as well as an ergonomic wrist rest. After a few days, my should discomfort went away. The arm has an excellent design and is well constructed. Very pleased with the purchase.

This little armrest is excellent. It is well-built, not flimsy, and supports my elbow and forearm while typing. I have a terrible ongoing case of tennis elbow, and I would find that extended sessions on the keyboard or playing computer games would leave my entire elbow and forearm aching. However, that has almost completely gone away since I started using this support. Highly recommended.
