Don't waste your money

First of all, these are sized really, really small....Second, I can literally see through these so well that I can distinguish colors and outlines of objects outside. They don't look like they would make it through one washing! I am returning these because they are absolute garbage....especially for the price!

The material is thin and more on the casual side than outdoor rugged. Running them through the dryer runs the risk of damaging the waist clasp. I run them in the dryer for maybe 20 min. or so just to dry them enough to keep the wrinkles out. I've found the hanging them to dry right out of the washer leaves them (the dark blue) noticeably wrinkled. I've noticed that the price has varied from $20 to $30 over relatively short time periods.
All-in-all the full elastic waist paired with an elastic belt makes for comfortable clothing. I wear these a lot during mild weather.

Good stitching so far hasn't ripped on me, the polyester material is comfortable and dries quickly from the summer sweat. I'll order XXXL next time as the different sizing chart(s) didn't work for me. I wear 38"-waist Carhartt, Dickies and Wrangler jeans that are tight on me so figure I have a 39" waist, but these XXL shorts are stretched to the max and still too tight on the waist. But I like the construction/price and will order again getting bigger ones.
Fussy little clasp

With the recent 90+degree temp here in the NW, I was looking for light weight shorts. The A.Wave seemed to fill the bill and in actuality they do. But there's a "but." The light weight fabric is fine, and the front pocket are adequately deep. The side pocket have an extra sewn-in Mini pocket which gets in the way when you reach in to get the cell phone. The biggest complaint however is the waist band clasp, instead of a button or a snap, it is actually a fussy little invention somewhat like a "hook & eye" that takes some careful attention to get right. I'll wear these for the rest of the summer, then look for something else.

These are decent light weight knee length shorts. They are very comfortable and can be worn with or without a belt because of the stretch waist. My only complaints are the belt loops are very thin and there are not enough of them, so, I decided to wear them with no belt. The shorts have a "draw-string" to tighten them and it is not visible from the outside.
