Razor sharp right out of the package

This is a very high quality set. The handles are nice, polished wood and the blades are well machined and sharp. I just opened the package and tried a few cuts. No sharpening or strop, just as they were delivered. Perfectly clean cuts from each one.

I can't comment on the durability or how well they hold an edge, but if they're anything like the Narex mortise chiseles it won't be an issue
