Colors are very bright! I was impressed
Charlcie Cagle•December 8, 2017
Purchased as a gift for my bf who is a paramedic. I haven't given it to him yet but I can tell upon inspection that it is a quality product. nice and heavy but not too much so. will fit comfortably in a utility pocket or scrub pocket. It was easy to open and close completely. the colors are very vibrant, much more so than the picture displays. I like the "star" emblem too, it makes it a neat gift item
Blade lock doesn't lock blade
Sean Devoy•December 7, 2017
I love the size and I love Tanto blades. It has 2 draw backs for my tastes . The main body of the blade is curved (concave) making it very difficult to sharpen. More significantly, the blade lock does not lock the blade. I have tried pressing it into place harder, attempted to over extend the blade, but just doesn't lock. You can hear the click, but the blade still closes quite easily. As it is an EMT knife, the safety feature should work.
Proven useless.

Very weak spring won't even fully open on its own. I don't even carry it into the field anymore as it's failed too many times on me when it really counted. Do yourself a favor and find a more promising brand, trust me it doesn't need to be flashy just functional.
Solid knife
Jrjeeping•October 7, 2017
This knife looks and feels solid. The folding action is smooth and positve feeling. The spring assist opening is appreciated and quick when using the back notch to open the blade. When opening the blade traditionaly the action is smooth and easy to control. The clip appears solid and the finish was even and without defect. The seatbelt cutter works and the glass breaker appears that it will work on safety glass just fine having a small raised area to direct the force to a small area. The only con I have is blade sharpness out of the box. I would buy again and give without hesitation as a gift. Price point is great.
Does its job, not much else.

What can I say? It works and suits the job it's intended for. Cuts fabric like butter, flips out and retracts easily, and can actually break glass. Not a fan of the awkward blade design, but it suits its purpose.
It's handy for what it's intended for - not much else. Obviously not even near being a survival must-have since it's specialized for EMS work, but if you buy it you won't be dissatisfied.
