I love this item. I do the cookie-cutter, chicken, broccoli, and rice. I steam all my food for 5 days in about 30 minutes plus 5 for clean up. I cook about 2-2 1/2 bls of chicken, 2 lbs of broccoli and 5 cups of rice. ( bought a 1 quart stainless steel bowl). Well worth the time for me. It would take me hours to meal prep. I just add all the food in and steam away while I take care of other things. I see others saying the drip tray is shallow. It is to a extent. I have no trouble with it and if it does overflow, I just let it go. The food is still getting steamed. Well worth the money for me. Within two uses it paid for itself in the time I saved. I highly recommend if you enjoy saving time while meal prepping with a cookie-cutter diet. Ive used it for other foods as well and it works well. Very hot. Just need to monitor and learn. I put snap peas in. 6 minutes later, the peas were starting to brown.

- The parts are ill fitting
- takes a long time to warm up
It is only better than our old when because it is not plastic and it will do until we find a suitable counter top steam oven which at present cost much more than this one.
