This display kit has brought out pleasing levels of patience and attention to detail I didn't know I had. The kits mixture of laser-cut basswood and cast metal is simply too beautiful to rush. Lots of tiny parts that may elevate your model-making skills; it certainly made me surprise myself. The airplane has a fascinating history, hard to fly but deadly to the enemy. My kit was short a few parts and an email to customer service resulted in a cheerful replacement within a couple of days. Highly recommended for accuracy, intricacy, and the satisfaction of completing an extremely well-engineered and conceived piece of aviation history.

A quality kit with first rate materials and lots of directions...this is NOT for a casual hobbyist...you should have some serious experience with model building before taking this on, and a GREAT deal of patience. Finished product looks awesome, but be prepared for many hours of careful (often repetitive) work to get there. Word of warning....when you can, TEST FIT EVERYTHING. For example, found to my dismay that the machine gun assembly/oil tank components are SLIGHTLY off center..I believe on purpose, but if the components are not installed to reflect this, you end up with a machine gun on top of the oil tank filler cap..and a lot off dis and re assembly, so be warned.
