I'm used to an old fashioned jaffle pan. This does not have as fat a belly, so it does not hold much stuffing, like savory ground beef, for example. Makes nice toasted cheese, ham & tomato though.

Thanks. My mom always had this. When she passed away I took it to our home in the mountains. But somehow left it there when the home was sold. So glad to get it back and I'm giving it to my daughter. Don't forget to spray grill with pam or other cooking oil prior to toasting.
You can also butter OUTSIDE of sandwich if you wish but I have found over the years that its not as effective.
